HP Desktop PC, no keyboards work , errors in device manager
I had an issue this week with a PC that would boot to windows but then have no keyboards working, also in even viewer it would show keyboard devices with errors.
The fix was a Regedit.
Open Regedit
Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96b-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
In there go to Upper Filters and remove the HP items so it should just read kbdclass.
save and reboot your machine.
Fingers crossed it boots up with a keyboard this time!
