HP Probook 450 G1: Mediatek Loses Wireless Connection, dropping connection often, windows 7

So I had a HP Probook 450 G1 which was losing network connection quite often, like every 10 mins after searching around I found that it was infact a BIOS problem.

HP advise to upgrade the BIOS to 1.20 from the base 1.05 link here http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5405166&swItemId=ob_136070_1&swEnvOid=4059

Also upgrade the driver version for the wireless card from the 2013 version to the 2015 version

have not had a disconnection since.

PS Admin - Dlink print servers Dlink Print Server Setup ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Printserver/PS_Admin/Psadmin.exe Double click the downloaded file this creates a folder in the c: drive called psadmin\disk1 run the setup util from here. Follow the on screen prompts and install normally. Double click the PS Admin ver 3.00 shortcut now in the progrm list. Select the correct print server on the left device list. The characters co-incide with the last 6 digits on the print servers MAC Address. Once selected choose the TCP/IP Protocol in the configuration section on the screen, In here add the IP address, Subnet and gateway address. Once added Click the save configuration and your Print server is configured. From here you can also do remote test pages, firmware upgrades and factory resets.
