HP G8 ML350 Media Bay Cage Kit

We recently got delivery of a HP generation 8 ML 350 Server and tried to fit the backup device in the usual slot, but found the space to large for the device and no mounting points. After trawling the quick specs for the server we found you need the below option. All the pictures on the net were wrong so thought I would share what they look like.

HP Part No - 661618-B21 HP Second Media Bay Cage Kit



As you can tell this gives the server chassis the ability to add to standard size DVD-roms or backup devices, also included were cables and mounting screws.

    Thanks for posting this info. Until I saw this post I wasn't 100% sure which part I needed to add additional 5.25 drives to a ML350e G8.
    All the images available (other than yours) appear to be from a previous generation 4LFF HDD bay.

Office 2013 Asking for Password 365 Exchange - no reason just started happening

So todays issue revolves around office 2013 and exchange 365 accounts.  I had an issue with a user's machine that just kept asking for the password but would not accept it, the login box kept coming back up. Turns out 2013 uses an old auth method so we need to force it to use the new method. So using regedit you need to add the below key Registry key Type Value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\AlwaysUseMSOAuthForAutoDiscover REG_DWORD 1 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Identity\EnableADAL REG_DWORD 1 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Identity\Version REG_DWORD 1 You May also create a reg key file if you wanted to do a few machines Enable modern authentication for Office 2013 clients Close Outlook. System tray is Full of blank Icons - server, SBS

I had an issue today with the system tray being full of blank icons, you could see nothing and it was causing explorer to crash Run regedit navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\LocalSettings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify  Delete the two keys IconStreams and PastIconStream  Stop task explorere.exe  run explorer.exe   all the icons should now be where they are suppose to be
